Our Technology

OPTOS

Ultra-wide field retinal imaging allows diagnosis of conditions that may first appear in the periphery and could be missed by traditional techniques.

  • Captures over 200° field of view in a single image
  • Traditional fundus cameras only capture about 45°

Optos was invented by Douglas Anderson after his 5-year-old son had a retinal detachment that was not detected using older equipment.
